WHAT IS THE BUB’S DELIGHT FOOD MADE FROM?

Our food is made from 100% Organic ingredients with the meat/fish being 100% Organic and sustainably farmed. We ensure that each serving is a balance of protein, carbohydrate and vegetables. As parents, we encourage you to make some research and always try to understand as much as you possibly can about the food that your baby or toddler eats. WHY HAVE YOU CHOSEN THESE PLASTIC CONTAINERS?

Being frozen, our choice was limited when it came to picking a container. That being said, our packaging have been chosen because they are BPA* free and can be heated in the microwave, as well as frozen. The containers are stackable, reusable, tamper proof and allow you to see the food that is inside.

WHY IS THE FOOD FROZEN?

Bub’s Delight food is prepared fresh and then frozen in a Blast Chiller. Blast chilling is a method of cooling food quickly to a low temperature that is safe from bacterial growth. Reducing the temperature of cooked food from +70 °C to +3 °C or below, within less than 60 minutes, renders the food safe for later consumption and retains its high quality. Freezing the freshly prepared food eliminates the need for preservatives or additives, excessive heat treatment or over processing, meaning pure, nutrient-rich food for your baby. And from a purely practical matter, for you, as parents, it gives you an opportunity to keep the food for longer, giving you the ultimate ‘back up plan’ for those busy days when cooking isn’t an option.

After a few years of distribution via stores and supermarkets around Sydney, we have decided to stop completely; the pressure on price coming from supermarkets was putting the quality of our products at risk, which the exact opposite of what our mission is. HOW LONG WILL THE FOOD LAST IN MY FREEZER?

Our baby & toddler food & meals and products could easily last up to a year in a good freezer. It is recommended to eat them within 6 months for maximum quality, textures & flavours. Check the use by date on the tubs.

HOW LONG WILL THE FOOD LAST ONCE THAWED?

Due to the fresh nature of our products, once thawed in the refrigerator, the food should be consumed within 3 days; Like you would with any fresh meal prepared at home.
